Meet the Swedes

Coming November 16-20th 2009
to…

London and Manchester

Following on from our successful Meet the Brits strand, MediaXchange is bringing to the UK,  leading professionals, from one of Europe’s most dynamic Television markets – Sweden.  An obvious partner for UK projects, Sweden has led the industry into the era of reality Television with the original Survivor series, invented SKYPE and won international creative Emmy’s!

Underpinned by a strong economy and small population Sweden has a strong creative streak, funds and vision.  The Shine Group recently bought Metronome and ITV bought Silverback; it is a market recognized as a strong partner for the UK.

You are invited to join the visiting group which will be made up of Broadcasters, production companies and new media geniuses.  The visiting group will present programs, formats, and interactive projects they are developing, and in which they are seeking interest from their UK counterparts.

With the TV industry scaling back locally there has never been a more significant time to build relationships in Europe, with Sweden an obvious first tier option.

We will be setting up meetings with the Swedish TV executives in London from the 16th – 18th November and, coinciding with the Media Festival, in Manchester 19th – 20th November.

If you are interested in booking a meeting with the Swedes, please Contact our London office directly.

We hope you will be able to join us!
