Katrina Wood

 Katrina Wood is Chief Executive of MediaXchange where her main focus is to develop the programmes we run annually and to develop new business.

 Katrina has also acted as a consultant to a wide variety of international media companies, broadcasters and producers. Her clients have included the British Film Commission, BBC, Danmarks Radio, Nordisk Film and TV Fund, S4C, GloboMedia, Pavilion, The American Movie Channel, Viacom, Master Piece Theatre, The Glasgow Development Agency, the European Film College and Screen Wales.

 In past years, Katrina has compiled and edited the Co-production section of the UK's industry reference book, The Knowledge, and acted as a Board Member of the European Film College in Denmark where she was involved in the founding stages of the College, raising the College's profile within the industry abroad and in fund-raising support.

 As the co-founder of Women in Film and Television UK, Katrina remains on the International Committee of the UK chapter. In the early nineties she acted on the Board of the Prince's Youth Business Trust, established by Prince Charles, to support new start-up enterprises for young businessmen and women. Currently she is a Trustee of the Kenya branch of Youth Business International’s Kenya brand and the Mediae Trust which promotes the use of media as an educational tool within the African continent.
