Alison Small
In November 2008, Alison became a freelance consultant to the international film and TV production communities, having decided to venture alone after 8 years at the Office of the British Film Commissioner at UK Film Council.
Recent clients of Alison Small Consultancy include the Production Guild of Great Britain; UK Screen Association; Screen Yorkshire; UK Film Council; Design and Artists Copyright Society; Northern Alliance and De Lane Lea.
Alison is now also working as a Consultant at MediaXchange.
She has a unique combination of relationships, knowledge and experience across the UK film production infrastructure, UK government and UK and US industries. She is an accomplished exponent of the benefits of film inward investment, having developed and designed strategies to increase opportunities for the UK.
Previously, Alison worked as a teacher of film and media studies to post compulsory education students.
She is Co Vice-Chair of Women in Film and TV (UK) and chair of the finance committee.
