Abu Dhabi Circle Conference

ADFClogo.jpgThe Circle Conference 2009 which we organized for the Abu Dhabi Film Commission, in association with Imagenation, brought together an dynamic mix of Hollywood studios and leaders in the independent film world, expanded this year by TV and New Media interests. With the dramatic settings and significant financial resources, this region is the top of the buzz charts at the moment. The three most influential institutions are the Film Commission, TwoFour54 for TV and for feature films – Imagenation. Media has been selected as one of the engines of diversification away from oil in the 2030 plan for the region. Several innovative schemes have been put in place to build the local infrastructure and many foreign interests are flooding in to partner with local entities as the foundations are being put in place to make Abu Dhabi the media hub for the region. A very inspirational glimpse into the potential centre of the 330 million Arabic speakers in the Middle East and the partnering opportunities for more developed media industries.

Take a look at the schedule of the conference, the issues, the speakers and its audience at the Abu Dhabi Film Commission webpage - http://film.gov.ae/
