Cancellation, Refund & Privacy Policies

MediaXchange Ltd will only accept cancellation & refund requests made in writing by May 23, 2008 and emailed to info@mediaxchange.com or faxed to +44 207 287 0096.

A cancellation fee of $250 will be deducted from your refund.

Refundable Registrations:

Summit Registration Rate – until May 23, 2008
Daily Rate – until May 23, 2008

Non-Refundable Registrations:

Early Bird Rate
MX Alumni Rate
Corporate Rate (minimum three registrations)

In the event of a duplicate registration or similar instance that warrants a refund, a handling fee of $250 will be charged.

Transfer Policies

MediaXchange Ltd will only accept transfer requests made in writing by June 17, 2008 and emailed to info@mediaxchange.com or faxed to +44 207 287 0096.

A transfer fee of $150 will be charged and is due upon registration transfer. Please complete the following TRANSFER FORM including payment details for the new delegate and email to info@mediaxchange.com or faxed to +44 207 287 0096.

Registrations are not transferable to future events.

Transferable Registrations:

Summit Registration Rate – until June 17, 2008
Daily Rate – until June 17, 2008
Early Bird Rate – until June 17, 2008
MX Alumni Rate – until June 17, 2008
Corporate Rate – until June 17, 2008, must be transferred within the same organization.

MediaXchange Ltd respects and values its relationship with all our delegates, speakers, employees, customers, sponsors and other stakeholders. The Drama Summit is committed to protecting and keeping secure the personal information you provide into our custody and control.

The personal information you choose to provide will be protected and used only for the purpose identified at the time of collection.

Personal Information Defined

Personal information is information that can be used to identify or contact a specific individual (i.e. name, home address and telephone number) and may also include survey responses expressing an individual's opinion. Publicly available information (example: information in telephone directory) or business contact information is not considered personal information. The provision by an individual of home information as business contact information will be considered business contact information and hence will not be subject to policies put in place to protect personal information.

Visas

Participants are responsible for obtaining their own visas if visas are required by host country.

Insurance

Participants are responsible for their own travel insurance which should protect against loss of property, personal injury and medical emergency.

Privacy Protection Practices

All personal information gathered by MediaXchange Ltd is kept in confidence and will only be used for further notification of events associated with MediaXchange Ltd. The Drama Summit employees or subcontractors only have authorized access to personal information based on the business needs for which it was collected. Physical, administrative and technical measures are in place to ensure that the information is not disclosed or shared for reasons other than achieving the purpose for which it was collected.

All Drama Summit employees use password protocols and firewalls are in place to protect personal information received or stored electronically. Protocols and software are maintained to maximize protection of personal information.

At any time, should you wish to withdraw your consent authorizing the Drama Summit to use your personal information for the purpose(s) it identified, please advise info@mediaxchange.com.

Confidentiality

You agree to keep confidential any concepts, treatments, outlines, story materials, proposals or similar information you may be given access to, or which may be discussed, during the course of the Inner Market at the Summit or any of the Summit sessions. You are asked not to release any information about any of these materials without the prior written approval of the relevant owner.

Disclaimer

As organizer of the event, MediaXchange Ltd reserves the right to change the content of the programme and any of the speakers as circumstances dictate.

You understand and agree that any or all of the programmes contained in the Drama Summit may be filmed and/or recorded. Accordingly, by taking part in the Drama Summit, you grant to MediaXchange the right to film and photograph you, to record your voice, and to use your voice and likeness, without compensation, in connection with the Drama Summit and you release MediaXchange and its licensees from any and all liability in connection thereof.

Payment will be made to MediaXchange Ltd. Credit card statements will show that payment has been made to MediaXchange Ltd.
