“I have always enjoyed my annual meetings with
MediaXchange. They always bring over really smart and
creative individuals who are hungry to learn the
complexities of the U.S. entertainment business and who
also enlighten us about changes in their marketplaces.”

The Week
MediaXchange’s Exchanges offer small groups of senior
entertainment professionals the opportunity to develop effective
knowledge and strategic business relationships within a chosen
market. A typical Exchange consists of approximately 20 meetings
with industry leaders over the course of a week. Delegates gain
a current and in-depth view of the industry and its newest
trends at meetings with the local networks, cable broadcasters,
agencies, production companies and studios.
This personalized approach goes beyond conferences or sales
markets, in that it allows participants to hear first hand about
the realities of a market – the opportunities, the trends and
the nuances of doing business effectively. The meetings give
unparalleled access to senior creative and business executives
to discuss individual projects, areas of common interest and
potential joint ventures.
Since 1991, we have taken small groups of professionals to
foreign territories to meet the key decision-makers in a range
of specialist areas: drama series, soap, sitcom, feature film,
TV movies and mini-series, animation, kids TV, factual
programming, light entertainment, convergence and entertainment
law.
MediaXchange is best known for its long-running series of
Exchanges to Los Angeles, but other Exchange cities have
included New York, Toronto, London, Washington DC, Cape Town,
Johannesburg, Paris, Berlin, Munich and Cologne.
