Now entering its third year, Connect to Hollywood is designed to identify top-calibre series with the potential to attract interest from the US market. Participants are inducted in US pitching practices and will have opportunities to meet one on one to pitch Agents, Networks, Showrunners, Executives, Producers and Sales Agents with the aim of securing US partners and exploring the creative and commercial potential of their concept.
Connect to Hollywood is offered exclusively for past participants in MediaXchange’s Los Angeles Exchanges and The European TV Drama Lab (The European TV Drama Lab is produced in association with the Erich Pommer Institut and the support of Creative Europe).

Take Your Place In A TV Drama Exchange For Women Writers In Los Angeles
Following the success of the inaugural Women Writers Exchange in 2019, the schedule will return in 2021.
Building on the industry focus of ensuring a wider representation of women in creative roles, the schedule will provide participants with greater insight into the US creative process through meetings with key US players and practitioners. Contrasting the creative and collaborative skills applied by writers, writer/producers and writing Showrunners will allow for an examination of best writing, show management, development and production practices.
Meetings and sessions will also examine the range of perspectives through direct access to US, drama development executives who will share their creative and production experiences.
The comparison of process encourages an advanced level of professionalism and also offers opportunities for exchanges with international drama producers and exposure to potential development opportunities.
