Katrina Wood is Chief Executive of MediaXchange where her main focus is to develop the programs run annually and to head the team dealing with individual consultancy clients.

Katrina has acted as a consultant to a wide variety of international media companies, broadcasters and producers. Her clients have included the BBC, Scottish Enterprise, The Glasgow Development Agency, Pavilion, S4C, Screen Wales (UK), Metronome, Anagram, Danmarks Radio, Nordisk Film and TV Fund, the European Film College (Scandinavia) GloboMedia (Spain), American Movie Channel, Viacom, Master Piece Theatre (USA), the Media Development Agency in Singapore and the Chinese Writers Guild (Asia).

In past years, Katrina has compiled and edited the co-production section of the UK's industry reference book, The Knowledge, and acted as a Board Member of the European Film College in Denmark where she was involved in the founding stages of the College, raising the College's profile within the industry abroad and in fund-raising support. One million dollars was raised from the MPAA in the third year.

With Katri Skala she co-founded Women in Film and Television UK which currently has 1500 members. In the early nineties she joined the Board of the Prince's Youth Business Trust, established by Prince Charles, to support new start-up enterprises for young businessmen and women. Currently she is a Trustee of the Kenya branch of Youth Business International's Kenya brand and the Mediae Trust which promotes the use of media as an educational tool within the African continent.
